How do you post a comment on the Wordpress blog?

At the bottom of the post it says "Leave a Comment"

You have to click that and it will take you to a comment box. It's just a little different - but still easy!

To Post A Comment on DeKalb School Watch Two ...

It's easy!

(1) Go to www.wordpress.com.

(2) At the top of the page click on "Sign Up" for a WordPress account.

(3) You can skip getting your own blog, if you like, and just sign up for an account.

(4) Create a "screen name" -- it does not have to be your real name.

(5) Create a password.

(6) WordPress will ask for your e-mail address.

(7) Check your e-mail account for activation instructions.

After that simple set up -- you are ready to comment!

Simply click in the comment box, write your comment and then, when ready, click on "Post Comment." Done!

Your anonymity and your privacy will not be compromised.

Nothing has changed about the DeKalb School Watch blog and its mission except for the location of the blog. The same people are still volunteering their time for the blog. Please join us! We DO NOT work for DCSS!

Please continue to read and comment! Articles are welcomed!

It takes a committed community to rout out the pervasive, ingrained corruption and return decency to the DeKalb County School System.

Make no mistake -- we are up against desperate people. They have NO interest in educating children. Their single interest is keeping the gravy train running for friends-and-family. They will kick and scream and fight to maintain status quo.

We cannot let them win or DeKalb County will become another East St. Louis. [http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2011/08/11/feds-called-in-to-curb-eastside-crime/]

Won't take the comment. Wants me to log on, but I can't get a logon id - everything I try, it says is already taken...

FWIW, I think you can post a comment using a Facebook or Twitter account as well.

I noticed that the one comment that was posted had an email address. What if you don't want your email address shown?

That's a Twitter handle... I actually think that might be spam...

If you go to WordPress.com and follow the sign-up directions, the only thing that will show up with your comment is the screen name you choose. Your privacy and anonymity will be secure.

I am sad to see you retire.

You have done such an excellent job.

I do understand as my youngest is a senior at Lakeside but he is a full time student at Georgia State his senior year in high school as he is in the move on program.

I still read the articles on a regular basis but just have not commented nearly as much.

Celebration you will be missed. I hope you still stay active.

Is there a dedicated auditor for sports and booster groups in the county for each school? We could not get an answer for that at the county level.

Wow!
